For Liste 2026, Galería Extra presents a solo exhibition by Marilyn Boror Bor that brings together three fundamental lines of her practice: Re/Write – Re/Name, Buried Rituals: Combing the Roots, and ¡K’o chi nuk’u’x! It Is in My Heart / Memory. Together, these series compose a symbolic territory that weaves textile thinking, ancestral memory, and the fractures produced by the extractivist logics shaping Indigenous landscapes in Guatemala.
Marilyn Boror Bor (b. 1984) is a Maya-Kaqchikel artist from Guatemala. Her practice explores Indigenous identity, historical memory, colonialism, and resistance through diverse materials.
