For Liste, the gallery presents new wall-based works by Timothy Lee Standring that unfold through a chain of translation between online marketplaces, private interiors, and retail ephemera. Each piece begins with a mass-produced figurine purchased online, used both to access images of the seller’s home and to determine the scale of the final work. Details of these interiors are used as blueprints to construct the sculptures, which resemble emptied stages and hollow displays for the absent figurines. Roughly built from reclaimed materials, their surfaces covered with wallpaper, wrapping paper, and upholstery fabric, carry the class aesthetics and social histories embedded in their circulation, drawing on the visual languages of domestic and commercial display.

Timothy Lee Standring (1981, Munich) is a British/Swiss artist living between London and Bregaglia, Switzerland. He studied at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, Zurich and at the Royal College of Art, London. Selected shows include: MMXX, Milan (2025); Madame Leniou, London (2025); Galerie Oskar Weiss, Zürich (2025); a. Squire, London (2025).
