Sarah Bogner’s painting distills figures and still lifes of fruit and flowers into concise pictorial systems balancing clarity, rhythm, and color. The horse figures appear in her work as reduced yet idiosyncratic agents between figuration and sign, while the still lifes function as counterweights and points of grounding. For Liste Art Fair, she presents a new body of work developed from her 2025 residency in Paris, transforming the booth into a garden-like space where figures and still lifes intertwine.
Sarah Bogner (*1980 Munich) is a Vienna-based artist and co-founder of Harpune Wien. She graduated from Akademie d. bildenden Künste, Munich (2008). Her work has been shown at Kunstverein Heppenheim, MQArt Box Vienna, Tiroler Landesmuseum and Livie Gallery Zurich. She paints light, connection, and colour through horse-like figures and still lifes.
