Slow and Unstoppable by Kemil Bekteši reflects on labor, migration, and resilience through the metaphor of yeast. Drawing from his father’s work as a baker, Bektesi connects bread-making with immigrant experience in the West. The exhibition features process-based installations where dough slowly rises within steel structures, symbolizing transformation, generational labor, community support and the unseen forces shaping both art and survival.
