For Liste, Lisa Herfeldt presents five acrylic glass sculptures arranged in a grid format. Shelved inside are office ceiling tiles, from pristine to worn, alongside silicone forms suggesting microbial growth and fragments of domestic luxury. Two wall works extend the installation, revealing how the minimalist surfaces and architectural materials of late capitalism conceal the infrastructures, residues, and economies behind them.
Lisa Herfeldt (b. 1976) based in Berlin. Recent exhibitions have been held at Roland Ross, Margate, Between Bridges & Faecher, Berlin.
Working with silicone sealant, expanding foam, and synthetic textiles, Lisa Herfeldt creates sculptural configurations that foreground processes of containment, expansion, and seepage, situating architectural infrastructures and corporeal systems within a shared field of material instability
Together with Sara Bonn and Anne-Katrin Ahrens, Lisa is the co director of Faecher - a studio and artist-run exhibition space in Kreuzberg, Berlin.
