For Liste 2026, Shahin Zarinbal presents a solo exhibition by Sanna Helena Berger, highlighting two contrasting positions in her practice: minimalism and maximalism. The booth is divided by a single architectural intervention: a backroom occupies a quarter of the space housing a dense selection of works exploring the shared theme of lack, while the remaining three quarters form a stark minimal area presenting a single work, an ‘unreadymade’, as the pièce de résistance.

Sanna Helena Berger (b. 1983) works with site- and situation-specific installations informed by critical theory, philosophy and analysis. Recent exhibitions include Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna, Halle für Kunst, Lüneburg, and Simian, Copenhagen. Her first institutional solo exhibition will open in October at the Westfälischer Kunstverein, Münster.
