Joshua Leon's presentation is a series of works concerned with the idea of the footnote and addendum, which were produced in relation to, or during the making of exhibitions and writing over the last four years. These works address the transitory and latent nature of Leon's practice, in which materials, ideas and objects accrue meaning through the changes they undergo — carried between studio and exhibition, revised, withheld, redressed.

Joshua Leon (b. 1990) is an artist and writer based in Vienna whose practice explores how archival remembrance, historical research and autobiography collide. Recent exhibitions include Kunsthalle Wien, South Parade, Chisenhale Gallery, CAPC Bordeaux & Frac Lorraine. The Process (Mousse, 2024) won the inaugural Emerging Art Foundation writing prize.
