At Liste Art Fair Basel 2026, Rose Ras presents a material ecosystem of carved wooden wall works and translucent tulle bags filled with wood debris. The panels merge gesture and surface, exploring wood’s layers and resistance, while the floor pieces transform production waste into sculpture. Inspired by volcanic eruptions and explosions, Ras reflects on rupture, transformation, and human impact on fragile environments.
Rose Ras (b. 2001, St Jean du Sud, Haïti, lives and works in Paris), graduated with distinction at the École National Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 2025. Her first solo exhibition took place at VIN VIN Vienna, March - April 2026.
