Whistle and Primary Practice’s joint presentation at Liste 2026 examining how images, narratives, and meanings are continuously negotiated, reframed, or destabilized. The presentation examines the unstable conditions under which narratives emerge, both through Dongho Kang’s exploration of the autonomous capacity of found images to generate plot and emotion beyond human intention, and through the shared authorship of RohwaJeong’s collaborative practice.

Dongho Kang (b. 1994, Korea) received his MFA and BFA from the Korea National University of Arts. He works from a reservoir of ownerless images and visual fragments preceding his own interventions. He reactivates the narrative potential of images by emphasizing form and color, detached from the object’s intended meaning and function.
