This panel discussion explores the position of the artist’s moving image today, focusing on its evolving modes of production and circulation. Chaired by Juliette Desorgues, Paris-based curator and writer, and responsible for the selection of Liste's Film Programme, the conversation brings together Attilia Fattori Franchini, Founder and co-Director of Kunstverein Gartenhaus, Vienna and Raoul Klooker, Director of Fluentum, Berlin.

Juliette Desorgues is a curator and writer based in Paris. With a background in art history and theory from the University of Edinburgh, the University of Vienna, and University College London, she has worked internationally as a curator both independently and within institutions. From 2019 to 2021 she served as Curator at MOSTYN, Llandudno, Wales and from 2013 to 2017 as Associate Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London. She has also held curatorial roles at theBarbican Art Gallery, London and Generali Foundation, Vienna. As a writer she has published widely, for monographs as well as publications including Art Basel Stories, Art Monthly, Frieze, Mousse and Spike. She sits on the Board of the Jacqueline de Jong Foundation.

Attilia Fattori Franchini is an independent curator and writer based in Vienna, AT. Her practice develops support tools for ephemeral practices, focusing on creating experimental and sustainable contexts for artistic production and display. She is a guest professor of Curatorial Practice at Kunstuniversität Linz (2025−2026); the director of curated by festival, Vienna; the founder and director of KUNSTVEREIN GARTENHAUS, Vienna, a space focused on film, sound, and performance, and the founder and editor of the publishing house Wild Seeds, dedicated to artists’ writings. Fattori Franchini is the curator of the Emergent section of miart Milan since 2018. She has recently curated the exhibition Rebecca Ackroyd: Mirror Stage, a Collateral Event of the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, and has worked as a researcher at the Institut für Kunst und Kulturwissenschaften at the Academy for Fine Arts, Vienna (2021 ‑2024).

​Raoul Klooker is a curator based in Berlin. Since 2024, he has been Artistic Director of Fluentum, where he develops exhibitions and commissions focused on contemporary time-based media. Previously, he co-directed the non-profit exhibition space OCT0 in Marseille (2021–2024) and was part of the curatorial team at Kunstverein Braunschweig (2018–2021). His recent projects include exhibitions and commissions with artists including Jordan Strafer, Hilary Lloyd, James Richards, Tina Keane, Arash Nassiri, and Ivan Cheng.
