Gaspar Willmann

Gaspar Willmann (born 1995) lives and works in Paris. Through a practice of video, installation and painting, Willmann grabs everyday objects, forms and images, mobilizes collective representatives and behaviors to question their circulation and issues in the context of a technocratic society which acts on affects. Willmann has exhibited at the Salon de Montrouge (2021), Fondation d’Entreprise Ricard (Paris, 2019). Winner of the Prix de Paris (2019), he was a resident at the Cité Internationale des Arts (Paris, 2020) and is currently a resident at Villa Belleville (Paris, 2022).
