Javier Bravo de Rueda, (Lima, 1989), a ceramist and painter, explores the relationships and tensions with oneself and the otherness. His work is the product of the search for meaningfulness in opposing concepts and entities.

Through drawings of scattered shapes, snakes and fiery swords, murderous saints, colored cloaks and graphic codes, studies from nature, intuitive scribbles and borrowed images that try to organize the everyday through pairings and repetitions, he attempts to shape the experience of human connections. His depictions are a tool to think and let his mind wander.
