Artist Talks & Panels

In a series of conversations open to the public, artists, curators, collectors and writers will explore the conditions of artistic production today. Renowned voices such as Hyunjin Kim, Chus Martinez and Robert McKenzie will be in dialogue with artists featured in solo and group presentations at Liste, including Joana EscovalTrinidad Metz Brea, Mary Pakinee and Inuuteq Storch. A special anniversary panel will bring together key figures from Liste's history – Peter Bläuer, Wilfried Cooreman, Ann Demeester, Francesca Pia and Eva Presenhuber – for a verbal retrospective. Another panel with Eleanor Cayre, Lukas Jakob and Sigit Nugroho will ask what it means to begin a collection today – and what responsibility it entails. In the talk Notes on Kim Lim, publisher Matthias Kliefoth, artists Katalin Deér and Daiga Grantina, and curator Stefanie Gschwend discuss how artistic processes can be translated into book form. Writer and frieze co-editor Pablo Larios talks with Anna Götz, co-curator of the 2025 São Paulo Biennale, about curatorial methodology in the lead-up to the show. All talks take place at the Fair Hall Plaza.
